Moving to Another Country for Work: How Wypoon Supports You

Relocating to another country or even another continent, can be challenging. There’s always something unexpected that needs to be done, and at times, it can feel overwhelming.
At Wypoon Technologies, we are here to make your journey smoother. We believe that transparency is key to building trust and helping you achieve the highest standards in your career.
Becoming a team member at Wypoon Technologies involves a clear, structured process with several steps. No worries, we guide you through every stage to ensure the best experience possible.
Curious about what Wypoon does and how we support you? We’ve prepared a detailed, step-by-step guide to our recruitment and relocation process.
OUR PROCESS
At Wypoon, your journey with us starts well before your first day on the job. Once we’ve reviewed your CV and decide to move forward, our recruitment team invites you for an introductory video call. This is where we get to know you: your expectations, your experience and your motivation to relocate to the Netherlands or Belgium. You’ll also get insight into the cost of living, the relocation process and how we support you along the way.
If the first conversation goes well, you’ll receive a technical assessment. With a positive result, we’ll invite you for a second interview. This conversation dives deeper into your expertise, career goals and areas of specialisation. We’ll also give you more insights into the Dutch job market and the types of projects you could be part of.
Once we have a full complete overview, we will evaluate your profile. If everything aligns, you’ll have a final conversation to discuss employment terms, relocation planning and next steps.
When our internal process is complete and we’ve identified the right assignment for you, we introduce your profile to one of our client partners. If they see the same potential we do, you’ll be invited for an interview with the client. This may include an additional technical assessment or team discussion, depending on the role.
Interview with the client? Congratulations, your adventure is about to begin.
During this stage, we support you closely to prepare for the interview process. If there’s a match, you’ll receive an offer to join Wypoon as a consultant. From there, we guide you through every step, from signing your contract to relocation, onboarding and starting your first assignment.

VISA APPLICATION
Wypoon fully manages and covers the costs of your visa process. Please note: a valid passport with at least 6 months’ validity is required to initiate the visa application. Our support includes:
- Highly Skilled Migrant (HSM) Residence Permit: Grants eligibility for the 30% tax ruling and long-term stay in the Netherlands.
- MVV (Short Stay Visa): Required for some candidates to travel to the Netherlands before collecting their HSM Residence Permit.
RELOCATION SUPPORT
Flight Booking: Wypoon arranges your flight from your home country to the Netherlands as part of our relocation package.
Arrival Assistance: Upon your arrival, a Wypoon team member will meet you at the airport and accompany you to your temporary accommodation.
Housing Assistance: Our team helps you search for a suitable home based on your needs and budget. Please note: finding permanent housing in the Netherlands can take time. Temporary accommodations (hotel or short-term rentals) are often needed for the first few months.
